After a trip to Instacare, and then over to the hospital to see the Orthopedist, she came home with a pillow cast, which is essentially a real cast with tons of padding inside. It goes on soft, then they wet it and as it dries it hardens.
Oh man, I think I about died when it happened. I felt horrible. And it's taken a week, but now I can talk about it without coming to tears. I was having a hard time with it for a while.
And now that she's not in obvious pain, it's actually kind of cute. It pretty much doubles her weight though...

Ooohhhh, so sad! But I had to laugh that it has taken you a week to tell the story because I would totally be the same way.
Grandma called my mom the other night to tell her about Brooklynn's broken leg and to tell us all to pray for her. :) We love you guys!
Awe poor Brooklyn! But you don't need to feel bad. Things happen and one day y'all will look back on this and laugh. Especially at the picture of her tiny foot in that huge cast haha it's so cute but sad!
