The End of "The Stache!"

I am SO glad March is coming to an end!!  Only one more day till Jason shaves off that "thing" from his face!  I admit, it wasn't too bad, but I definitely like him clean shaven or with just a little stubble all over much better.  I think he did pick the best "style" for his face/personality though.  So he had that going for him :)  Here's the final pics of him and my brothers and dad with all their mustaches.

No Fun

No fun at all.  So I am now on my 4th cold in the last 5 months.  And this one is by far the worst.  It feels like I have an ear infection AND some form of flu virus on top of having a nasty cold/sinus infection.  Lovely eh?  To say I'm feeling a little under the weather is a bit of an understatement.  I'm sick of complaining all the time that I don't feel good or that I'm getting another cold.  So tomorrow I am going to the doctor...I don't think I've been to a normal doc besides my OBG for years.  Probably since I was in high school or something.  So it will be good.  Hopefully we'll find out why I don't seem to have much of an immune system lately (and no, I'm not pregnant, although they will probably run a test just to make sure).  When I was pregnant with Makayla my immune system went on vacation for most of the entire pregnancy.   But I'm 99.99% sure that is not the case this time ;)
Anyway...blogging break for a few days while I recoup...rest up and just work on feeling better.

Silly

This really is a silly post, there's not much really that's "blog-worthy" in it, other than pics of our cute family. 

Not much has been going on lately, we're just all patiently (not really) waiting for some warmer weather so we can GET OUTSIDE!!  We're chomping at the bit to start playing with friends (the girls mostly), dig in the garden, plant a tree or two possibly, play some catch in the yard, etc...CAN.NOT.WAIT.

So here's what we've been doing inside lately...and there's not a whole lot to do!

And Harley is growing like a weed...she's huge, and yet to get even bigger.

Daddy "rescuing" the girls from the dog...they were both laughing SO hard.  Also note Jason's mustache....my brothers talked him into doing "Mustache March."  Won't be too sad to see that thing disappear in a few days!

And hip hip, hooray, today is a nice sunny day.  Not really super warm yet, but we'll take it!  Gonna go outside and do some colored bubbles the girls got from Grandma Diane & Papa Steve!

Sorry Momma

This has become Brooklyn's new "thing."  Whenever she screams or gets upset at her sister or the dog, I say, "oh dear, we don't scream." And she immediately says, "Sorry Momma."  In this sweet little voice.  It's quite possibly the cutest thing in the world. 

Just had to make sure I got that on here so one day I'll remember it.  Especially since both girls are having a VERY rough day today...lots of screaming involved.  Pretty sure lack of sleep is the culprit, since last night they were shorted about 3 hours. 

Ah, well....they take after me when it comes to sleep.  They need lots of it!

Root canals suck

So from the title, you can see that I was the unlucky "chosen" one and had to go in for my first root canal since I was about 15.  (Yes, I have crappy teeth, that's why I had to have one at 15...)  Holy cow.  Went in for the first round 2 weeks ago, and I was sore for like a half day, then totally fine, no problems after that.  But I had to go back 2 weeks later so he could finish it up and make sure the infection had cleared.  So back I went.  This time, was actually less invasive, (my root was calcified shut or something the first time) but he did have to do some crazy work on it still.  So I went home, and was numb for about 5-6 hours once again (haha...eating dinner was very entertaining).  This was all on Monday, and today is Thursday.  The pain seems to be getting worse.  I can feel a pulse in my tooth.  So I am calling the specialist (Endodontist-my uncle and regular dentist couldn't get into the root.  *see "crappy teeth"*) to see if this is normal or if maybe the infection is back or something.  Lucky me eh?  Let's just hope our kids do NOT get my teeth...although so far it's looking like Makayla might be.  Great.
Anyway...on with the rest of the happenings.
Brooklyn got a hold of Makayla's back-pack the other day and ran around in her diaper with it on...so cute.

Makayla leading her friends over to their house to play.  I'm not ready for her to be that grown up, walking over to friends houses...sheesh...I had to stay outside and watch her walk all the way to the end of the street before going around the corner.  Yikes.  She's growing up too fast.

 And last but not least, the 5th and final round of Candyland with daddy.  A request to play this game has been made almost every night of the week for about the last 8 days...
