I Won The Lottery!!

So I won the New York Lottery**. No joke. I'm freaking rich. I'd share the winnings with you all....except they wouldn't go very far. You see, I won $15 bucks!! So I didn't win the grand prize....but how many people can say they won the NY lottery!!??

And one more thing...i finally got a haircut! Mindy saved my "hairtastrophe" she is the best hairdresser ever. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you Mindy! And i promise i will never "cheat" on you again and go to someone else!

** I got a scratch and win card from an old chinese man this summer (who also happens to be a freaking millionaire). He gives them out every year when he comes to the operas in town.

My Little Model

Makayla had her first photo shoot last week. My friend Christie offered to do it for us. It was quite the experience.

First of all, she just sat there and chewed on her lips for the first 40 minutes or so.

Second of all, she refused to look at me when i was trying to get her attention and get her to smile. She was much more interested in all of the plants surrounding her, and wanted to eat them of course...who wouldn't?

But once she got into the sand box, she was all play. She loved it. It was her first sandbox experience. And of course, got a handful in her mouth. Mom was too slow. But what doesn't kill you makes you stronger right?

Look at these cute pics!! I am so excited to see the rest of them. I know there are only a handful of them with her actually smiling, but that's ok. She's just cute. And Christie has got some awesome skills. And John too. Poor guy had to stand out there and be the "lighting guy" But it was good, cause he was the only one who could get Makayla's attention and get her to smile for us. Good work John!
