Needles make me mad

Ok, normally, I am perfectly ok with needles. It's when they are being jabbed into my daughters leg that they really get to me. It kills me every time. And the little like 1/2 second delay between the stick and the scream, and then what seems like 1 full minute for her to take a breath between cries. It's insanity. Insanity I tell you. But this time, it was pretty funny. ( I don't think anything about getting shots is funny...i'm talking about the after-math.) She screamed good and hard for the 3 pokes, and then as soon as I picked her up, she immediately stopped crying and looked at the nurse like "how dare you" haha. It was so dang funny. And then she was fine...till the next day. She got a big red, warm, lump from the Tetanus shot. It's gotta hurt.
And on a brighter note, I have my husband back! Well, I guess he's been back for a week now, but I'm just getting around to the blog for the first time since then.
--Jason at Central Park--
This week at work has been insane! And we are getting visitors! I'm excited! My two high school buddies Cara and Christie are in Logan, and we're going to have a picnic with our fams tonight.

And then on Sunday, Jason's Aunt Shera and her family will all descend upon our tiny little apartment! Holy cow...I need to clean my house. But it will be fun. We haven't seen them in like a year.

So, I'm off to have a picnic!! And then clean my house...joy...such joy.

All Alone

Jason is in New York. And I am sad and lonely. It's 11:15 pm, and I don't want to go to bed. I don't sleep well when he's gone...not at all. All of my brothers, my dad, a couple uncles, and their boys are all in New York for 4 days. Am I jealous? Of course. But it will be fun for Jason, he's never really been anywhere. Especially anywhere as busy as NYC. He sounded kinda overwhelmed when he first called me. The first thing he said was how disgusting the Subway smelled. I laughed. I'm sure he'll be experiencing all sorts of new/different/disgusting smells while he's there, and maybe even some good ones...like the hot dogs and pretzels in Yankee Stadium....mmmm.

So anyway, I guess I'll go to bed now. I tossed and turned till midnight last night, because I had left my dryer going, and kept hearing things clinking and clanking around. Not smart. So....no dryer, I'm really tired, I should be good.
Only 2 more nights to go!

I miss this guy!!!!

Happy Girl

I really don't have much to say today, except that I am so glad I got such a happy little girl. She really hardly ever cries unless she's just so tired she can't deal with life any longer.
Plus, I haven't put a picture of her on here for a while. And she's just too cute!

And she gets those thighs from me...haha. They're so squishable!!! She's a little cream puff!
