So this is what it looks like...

To be 30!!! Ahhhh....how the crap am I that old? Seriously?
This is me today...my birthday. Jason thought I should document this momentous occasion...

From the Phone

Finally figured out that I can bluetooth pics from my phone to my computer. I always forget about that feature. I've been wanting to get pics off my phone forever. So here's a few I had been saving.

Makayla wearing Grandma's glasses

Kayla and Parker...besties.
Rick's Spring up Logan Canyon during the high water in April I think.
This was crazy...it's normally way under that bridge.
Happy B-
Sad B-
So this is what she looks like with no bangs...hmmm...Can't decide which I like better.

Family Playtime

We have had an awesome time this last week. We did a whole lot of nothing. And it really was awesome. Jason took the whole rest of the week off after his family left because it was our anniversary that next weekend, and he wanted to not have to worry about when he would be sleeping before work. So me and the girls had him to ourselves all week!! Here's a peek at some of the things we did. Again, not much, but it was some good quality family playtime.

Fist thing, Jason's first project out using his new workbench. I went out one afternoon hearing a bunch of hammering/drilling, etc, and see that he is making this from the leftover wood from the workbench!! He made us a washers game!! I had never heard of this game before I met Jason....so if you have no idea, it's kind of like horseshoes...but with washers. 3 points for in the middle circle, 1 point for in the box. We proceeded to spend a good couple of hours outside playing. Jason beat me every time. I need to perfect my washer throwing skills I guess.

Jason getting ready to throw.

Makayla decided she wanted to take some pictures, so here I am...haha.
Makayla being daddy's helper.

We also got to leave the girls at Grandma and Grandpa's house for a night and went out for our anniversary! We did a lite dinner, then headed out to the movies. Yes, that's right...2 movies...DOUBLE FEATURE!! We had never done 2 movies back to back. We are hard core like that.

Oh, this one is totally out of order. This was from today. We had an early birthday celebration for me at my parents house today while everyone was there for dinner. So Jason and the girls gave me this necklace!! I LOVE it. So simple, so beautiful. Perfect.
Back to our week. We played forts...
We read books...
Played in pj's all day. (You can see Brooklyn still has bed head hair...and this was definitely sometime around lunch..)
My little cheeser.
Sisters :)

I want more weeks like that one. Sometimes we have more fun when we stay home and just play and do nothing, than when we make big plans and go places. I don't want summer to end.

So we went to the fair...

The title pretty much says it all, so here's a bunch of pics! We didn't do much except look at animals and let Makayla go on 2 rides. (RIP OFF...)

And once again in backwards order, cause I am awesome like that. I can't seem to remember that it uploads them in reverse of what I click first.

Here's Makayla trying not to look at mom while I try to take her picture. I think I took about 10 trying to get just one of her looking at me.

And this will have to do. She was trying hard not to look...but getting a kick out of it!

Ferris wheel!
I look like I am having more fun than her. I don't know what I was so happy about...I guess I thought Makayla was actually looking and smiling too. Silly me. And see that gate to get into the car? Yeah...I had to turn sideways to fit through it. That made me feel awesome.
The boys, all watching us on the Ferris wheel.
Me waiting in line for Ferris wheel...really irritated that they charge 4 tokens for me to go, and I had to cause Kayla was too short. And 4 tokens=$4...yeah. Now you understand the look on my face.
My little, not so little baby...she looks so different to me in this picture. She's getting so big. :/
Off to look at some animals.
My little nephew Connor. He's adorable. Or as Greg calls him, "Adora-baby."
And us, the end. I love this pic of us. It's actually a good one of both of us!
And that was the local Cache County fair. We decided not to do the rodeo, because Brooklyn is currently working on about 5 teeth all at once. That makes for a baby that can only be happy for so long. But it was fun walking around looking at all the crazies that come out at the fair.

Bear Lake Adventures

We spent the last weekend with Jason's family up at the family cabin, and over boating at Bear Lake. And I finally found our camera cord, and got all of my pics uploaded! *Disclaimer* Loads and loads of pictures coming up. You have been warned.

We start off with Makayla trying to get the hang of her new big girl bike...

Makayla took a picture of me studying while waiting for everyone to get here!

Playing at the park...

After Jason's dad arrived, they got straight to work building Jason's workbench in the garage...Kayla was once again the photographer.

Me taking her picture for once!

almost done! (I still have to go take a pic of the finished product. )
On the way up to the cabin the next day, I discovered something was not quite right with my eye...It felt bruised...how does one bruise an eyeball? Seriously. It was dumb. And got much redder than this. That is my sad/what is wrong with me face...haha.
Roasting some mallows.

Playing Skittles at the cabin. Great entertainment.
Goofball!

I love this pic.

Time to go boating!!
Wade and Debbie rented a boat for a few hours, and we made the most of it!!
Tubing, woohoo!!
Makayla being brave, deciding to give the tube a go!
laughing with Daddy, another one of my favorite pics!
Look at me go! haha...
Yes, we are nerds...
Look at him...dang!
Wade got up on the wakeboard!
Boat Master Jay
My most favorite pic of all...Good work Jackie for capturing this fine moment!

Buddies!
Like a pro!
Out for another round with aunt Ashley!
And we ended our Bear Lake trip with a few hours on the beach. We were all pretty worn out and didn't last too long though. Then we headed back to the cabin for one more night, played a round of Settlers, Austin is the King...for now.
Then we headed home the next morning.
Such a fun time. We love it when Jason's fam visits, because we only get to see them a few times a year. And we had our first house guests at our new house! That was pretty sweet! Next time hopefully the won't be on an air mattress, and will have a real bed. :)
Till next time!
