Love

What more can you say about this...

Going to the pumpkin walk, and freeeezing near to death...holy cow. And the line was enormous.
And this is what is left of Makayla's Tinkerbell bun. I was practicing for Halloween. It needs to go up higher, but it worked pretty well. This was the end of the day, so it's kind of falling out. But still cute!

And this is just too dang cute! Pretty sure she is the cutest and happiest thing ever!

And my favorite scene at the pumpkin walk. It was really well done too!! Very clever!

And last but not least, my Tweety bird. I decided I should have given his body an outline ON the pumpkin instead of the pumpkin just being his body, but oh well....it's a pumpkin right!? And you can tell it's Tweety right??...right?? Please say yes. I was SO not wanting to do anything pumpkin walk this year, but we got talked into it again...I actually think it was pretty cute.
Now to go fold 5 stacks of laundry. You think I'm kidding. I most definitely am not. Seriously. 5 stacks. Not including towels, sheets, etc... 5 stacks of clothing. Yay!! So much for going to bed before midnight. Maybe tomorrow.

Witches Night Out

Our 2nd Annual Witches Night Out. Oh my gosh, we had SO much fun!! This is quite possibly the funnest event I attend all year long. Thousands upon thousands of ladies all dressed up as witches. Some pretty simple witches, like our costumes (but next year we are going ALL out glam), and others are totally decked out with feathers, glitter, stripes, heels, the works. And can I just say Gardner Village is probably the cutest place ever. All sorts of fun little boutiques, and cute candy shops, etc. Adorable. I want to go on a regular night, when there's nobody else there, and you can actually walk through the shops without feeling like you are being smooshed from all sides.
We started out going to Tai Pan on the way down. A tradition with my mom, and sister-in-laws. We all had 50% off coupons for all fall/Halloween stuff! How could we not stop and shop!
Besides that, we (me and Kristi) left the kids home with our hubbies, so come on...shopping without kids!? Hallelujah!!
We all got super cute things, then headed to Gardner Village. We put our names in at Archibald's the little restaurant there. It was an old Mill that they turned into a cute shop/restaurant. The wait was an hour and a half!! And we were starving. So we walked over and found a bakery and got some rolls to tide us over till dinner. We shopped for a while, then went to dinner. The food is awesome, but the wait is not. So next year we think we'll go to Cheesecake factory or something before we go to Gardner Village. Then we will have much more shopping time!
They had music blasting, cackling contests, costume contests, all sorts of specials in the stores, etc. A blast I tell you.

All of us Witches. Leisha, A'Donna, me, Kristi, Jen, Mom.

Me sitting on THE cutest chair. I wanted it...and they had it in yellow too!!
Me and the girls

Sistas and the Witchy Poo.....yikes!
This lady was HILLARIOUS!! She even pointed out that she had tassels on under her shirt...haha. And her poses were awesome. We just missed it with this pic, the camera was trying to shut down on us.

Witches everywhere!
Me and ma!

I was trying SO hard not to laugh at Kristi....I cracked up immediately following this pic.

The end. Here's to next year!

Sickies

My poor baby girl is sick. This is her first real stomach bug in her almost 3 years of life. I thought it would be a one night deal, you know up all night with the pukes, and then take it easy the next day and be done with it. But no. Day 1: We went through all 3 sets of sheets the first night, and she ended up sleeping on the floor next to our bed, so we could reach over and hand her a bowl when she felt the need. That worked out much better than running into her room AFTER things had already come up. Day 2: She was fine ALL day! Didn't eat much, but I figured, she just didn't have her appetite back yet, cause she was dancing, singing, playing just like nothing was wrong. Then on our way back to our house from my parents, right before we pulled up to the back door, she let loose. In her car seat...that's the worst. So the rest of the night, was spent cleaning that thing out, (and I obviously missed some somewhere, because I was still smelling it this morning...)
laying on the couch and just doing a whole lotta nothing. She once again slept next to our bed.
Day 3: She has absolutely nothing in her stomach, except I did manage to get some Gatorade and a tiny tiny bit of water in her this morning, thankfully. I was starting to worry she would get dehydrated. So now we are sitting on the couch snuggling in a blanky, hoping the stomach cramps will ease, and the fever will go down, and that it doesn't pass on to mom and Brooklyn...
Mom is having a girls night out tomorrow, and needs to be feeling goooood!! And so does Brookie, cause dad will have her for about 9 hours!!
So here's hoping for a better day tomorrow!

And here's some pics of Kayla being super cute with Grandma's dollies a few days before she got sick.

reading to them...

now she is the "momma dolly"

night, night!

And tomorrow Mom is going to take a big loooong nap, and then go play with no kids! I don't do this often, but it is definitely much needed this time!

Time

Well hello again!! Long time no see!! I'm finally back to blogging, and we've got so much going on and so much that has happened, I don't even know where to start! But here goes.

My Tweety Bird for the Pumpkin Walk. It's a work in progress, but it's starting to look cute!

We had family pics taken and finally got some of them up on the wall. Here's just a few. I'll post more of the family pics sometime soon.

Getting ready for Halloween. Putting up stickers on the window. These seriously kept her entertained for hours. She got them just how she wanted and then when she's not looking, me and Jason mess with them and rearrange them and see if she notices...and she sure does. She's like, "this doesn't go here!!" Then puts them all back right where she had them. We love that game!
We went to a pumpkin patch and picked some pumpkins. She found this one and said, "it's the perfect pumpkin for me mom!"

I cannot believe how grown up she is getting!! She looks like such a little kid now!

She loves her silly uncle Bry!
This little one is getting so big! She's just over 6 months old now! All her dark curly hair fell out and is now coming in blonde, and isn't long enough yet to tell if it will have any curl to it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed, cause it was so cute!
We've been going on alot of walks lately along this little canal by our place, and Makayla loves to feed the ducks. She was getting a little too close to the side of the little hill for my liking, so I made Jason grab her...haha.

And that's it for now, cause I am going to bed! Or maybe I'll throw the laundry into the dryer first. ;)
More to come!

Behind

Way behind....that's what I am. Mostly with work stuff, but behind on blogging too, along with laundry, dishes, etc...work is taking over right now, and probably for the next entire month...blah. Plus I am adding some additional things to my daily routine. But hopefully I can squeeze in some good posts here and there in the next week or so. I have some super cute pics to put on here!
