Sorry Momma

This has become Brooklyn's new "thing."  Whenever she screams or gets upset at her sister or the dog, I say, "oh dear, we don't scream." And she immediately says, "Sorry Momma."  In this sweet little voice.  It's quite possibly the cutest thing in the world. 

Just had to make sure I got that on here so one day I'll remember it.  Especially since both girls are having a VERY rough day today...lots of screaming involved.  Pretty sure lack of sleep is the culprit, since last night they were shorted about 3 hours. 

Ah, well....they take after me when it comes to sleep.  They need lots of it!

Just because I kind of think my girls are pretty dang cute...and I have nothing else really to post since we've been busy gearing up for the big day!! 

I LOVE this pic of Brookie.  She has started to say "cheese" everytime we take her picture now, and this is the face she pulls!  Plus, her hair was all straight this day which it hardly ever is, so I thought it looked cute!

K-bug is so sweet to her sister, always giving her lovies.

Can I wear this mom?

Little Miss picked out her outfit today all by herself. She came upstairs with her hat, boots, clean underwear, pants, and shirts, threw them on the ground and proceeded to dress herself. It was absolutely hilarious to watch. It took her for-ev-er to get completely dressed, but she did it all herself. I am looking forward to many more slightly strange random outfits...

Crafty-ish

I got bored this weekend, and look what happened! I got crafty...kind of! I got really sick of looking at hairbows stuffed in a drawer, or in a jar, or on the floor, or in Makayla's toy bin...so I decided to come up with this cute way to have them all in one place. I'd seen things similar to this before, but never got one, I just figured...maybe I'll make one someday. And I did! I even drug Jason to the fabric store with me!! He approved of my fabric choices, and then I got started!
Here was the outcome!

And I am well aware that my diagonal lines are not perfectly straight...it was my first attempt...and there was a...mishap, with the...ribbons...

But here it is with all of Makayla's bows! Well, not all of them, I should have made it bigger I guess...But sill super cute I think!

And, I think I might try and make a couple more and sell them for a few bucks...so, if you have any requests, send 'em in! It was fun to make!

We are mean...

So we went down to Salt Lake for Jason's birthday to have dinner with his Grandparents and brother and sister. We went to Texas Roadhouse. Mmmmmm...
Word got out that it was his birthday, and...

He was a good sport! Plus, how cute is he!!?? Oh my goodness, I sure love him.

The Scene: Grandma's house, early this morning.

Me: What do you want for breakfast today?

Baby K: Gogurt and toast.

Me: You want Gogurt and toast? (always have to double check, she likes to change her mind as soon as I put what she requested on her plate...)

Baby K: Sure mommy, I want gogurt and toast.

Me: OK!! (he he he...i was laughing, it was so cute.)

What a great way to start a Tuesday.

AND....Jason is taking me to see ODT's Thriller tonight at the Kent Concert Hall! He's seen it before, and says it's amazing, so I am SO excited! Date night! And don't tell, I'm skipping out on YW tonight for this....shhhh!!!
