Getting my Crafty on

I will be crafting this weekend!! I am pretty excited. I have 2 or 3 different ideas in mind. One I cut out this afternoon to get ready for!! Hehe! It's almost crazy how excited I get to do a new craft. It's almost as exciting as going out for date night!! Almost.
Speaking of date night...Jason came home from work with Roses for me!! He did it early so he wouldn't have to fight the V-day crowds. Which I don't blame him for one bit! What a great way to start the weekend. Crafting most of the day tomorrow, then Date night, then Valentine's Day!
Couldn't ask for a better weekend! Well, I take that back. I could ask for some sunshine and about 30 more degrees...

They smell good...

The craft me and Makayla did earlier this week. She made pillows for her "snuggle buddies." AKA her stuffed Monkey, Brownie, and her little Monkey, Baby Brownie.
Wish my hand stitching skills were a tad better, but they were cute. She stuffed them for me. Plus I love the face she is making here. I told her I wanted to take her picture and she said after a long sigh, "if you say so..."

And this was the yummy treat I made for Jen's baby shower last weekend. Forgot to post it earlier. Oreo balls. I have now been told I need to make these for every family gathering for ever and ever until the end of time. :) I guess they were a hit! Got the idea from my sis Ashley.
And, have recently discovered a slight variation of this same idea with cake...and frosting and candy coating...definitely going to be trying that out soon. And definitely going to be on a sugar high for a very long time.
