I procrastinate

Hooray!! Our newest little nephew arrived last week! He came on Feb 12, weighed 6lbs, 13 oz, and is a healthy little ("mini-Greg") baby boy! They named him Connor Gregory Geddes.
So I was so excited to see him, and got to see him once up at the hospital and once when we took them some dinner, and then I got the world's nastiest cold, and have been holed up ever since. I am dying to get my baby fix...I need baby snuggles so bad. Brooklyn isn't much for snuggling.
On top of that, I haven't felt much like being crafty, what with coughing every few minutes for the last couple of days. Makes for a very unsteady hand.
Anyway, that is all. I am procrastinating. Something I am very good at...hehe.
Hopefully I can actually get some stuff accomplished this week!! And get me some baby loves!

This was part of my V-day gift from Jay. He picked me out this cute bracelet and a pink lacy shirt to go with it. How freakin' sweet is that? Except that my camera cannot take a non-blurry pic these days. It's much pink-er in person too. (also totally unrelated to this post, but cute nonetheless)

Hold up!!

All crafts are currently on hold! We got another cute little nephew today!!! So I'll be lovin' on him all weekend, and not doing as much crafting as was planned. I did however make some cake balls on lollipop sticks to take up to Jen. Brown/blue ones. They turned out DANG cute, so I'll post a pic of those maybe tomorrow!

Anyway. We had a baby shower for my sis-in-law Jen on Saturday. Great fun!! It's about time we had another boy! 3 girls in a row since the last (and first) boy.

Ok, so I went to Hobby Lobby and bought this banner...pre-strung mind you. Pulled it out to hang it up and was so confused why I couldn't understand it...hah. And the backs were blank, so I couldn't just flip it...lame. That was a good waste of $2.99. Awesome. So we hung it up just for fun anyway. It was a good laugh.
Jen and Grandma, who looked SO cute! Had her hair done and curled, and was all dressed up. She was going to the Aggie game after the shower. She's a die-hard fan!

And that is the end. Baby showers are so much fun to do! I always feel awkward on the receiving end, but it's fun to be the one throwing it!

Aren't new babies the cutest most precious things in the whole world!? It's crazy to think when looking at a newborn, that your own small child used to be THAT small!

There's just nothing like them. The smell, the sounds, the faces, jerky movements, you could stare at them all day long.

So without further adieu, I present to you, Emma Whyte. Makayla's newest relative!!

She is the brand new daughter of my bestest cousin Anne, and her husband Mike.
