We decided to take Makayla's bed and sand it down and paint it white, so it would be all cute and ready for her new room. It turned into quite the project, and took most of the day, since half the bed we ended up having to do by hand. We got one coat of paint on, and it still needs one more, then it will be done! Jason sanded, I painted. It rocked.

This was Makayla trying to block Brooklyn from coming outside. I couldn't resist. It was super funny.
We also realized that we will now have two separate living rooms, one upstairs and one down. And since we only had one set of couches, you see the problem. We didn't really want to move in and be sitting on the floor, in an empty room. So we took advantage of some really super awesome Memorial Day sales and bought a new sofa/love seat set!! We love them. However, it was the ONE set of couches in the store that did not come with cute pillows. So any pillow suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance. ;)
So I guess that's it. I thought we had done something else, but the last two weeks are a jumbled mess in my head. All I have to go by are the pictures I took, and I didn't take very many unfortunately. But guess what...we will have 2 guest rooms and couches now for people to come stay!! So DO IT! But maybe sometime after July...;)

Looks like you guys are getting all ready! We can't wait to come see :D
As for pillows have you heard of a website called Pinterest? It is like a virtual pin board and when you see pictures you like you can pin them to this website. Always you should look at mine it's http://pinterest.com/jacqueline_h/ and under decorating I have lots of pillow ideas!
Hope this helps!
I love your couches and I love re-finishing furniture!! It's amazing what a little paint does to a piece of furniture :). Check out this blog: She sews the cutest stuff, I made my pillow cases in under 10 minutes each and you only need half a yard.

Also the nice thing is that you can go to ROSS and buy the cheapest pillows you can find. The pillow cases above are washable and that is a bonus when you have kids!
