Nope...uh uh...it can't be.
In 10 days my little miss will be 1 year old! I seriously cannot believe it. Was it really that long ago that I could feel her little kicks and jabs on my ribs? Now I'm feeling her punches and smacks on my face? There's no way it's been that long already! Impossible. That's why I have yet to do anything birthday related yet...No planning, no gifts, nadda. And I'm sure in about 8 or 9 days I'll freak out and realize that maybe I should go get her some stuff. And perhaps make a cake for her to destroy, and maybe tell the folks and others when they can come watch her destroy her cake...
But I still have 10 days to enjoy my "baby."

Yeah, well, the next thing you know your oldest baby is turning 4 and starting school in August... My worst fears are coming true! I can't believe it's been a year though - that really went by fast! She's such a pretty baby... Happy Birthday Makayla!
No way. Are we that old that time is just flying by us fast now. I remember our parents saying how quickly time passes (especially around Christmas & birthdays) and I felt like time was at a stand still. Oh well, I guess.

Eh, to heck w/ the gifts and what not. Everyone knows it's not for the kid anyway! Give her a box to chew on for an afternoon and she'll think it's a great day!!! It's not like she'll resent you when she's older, cuz she won't even remember. Photoshop someone elses cake in front of her one year old self and when she's a teenager you can be like... LOOK WHAT I DID FOR YOU! YOU UNGRATEFUL.... hehe, kidding!!!! :)
